I’ve been doing a lot of teaching for the affiliate marketer or the blogger that is trying to make money online by monetizing their blogs.
There are lots of ways to do this. You can add ads; you can do affiliate links, there are lots of different options. I use Tailwind for Pinterest.

Using Images from Pinterest on Your Blog
I’ve got a new blog post and this is going to be on my lifestyle blog.
When adding pins to your blog posts. It’s going to monetize the website.
This blog is only a couple months old, so it’s just getting rolling. It’s in a series of blogs that I’ve launched.
This particular one lends to images and graphics such as pins.
The example blog post is all about the mother of the bride fashion.
Example Website | Midlife Monarch
The particular audience for this website is the midlife woman who’s at that phase now where her daughter is potentially getting married.
She is looking up for outfits, and it’s important now to give her visuals.
So I had the blog written by a ghostwriter. I have lots of videos on how to hire ghostwriters.
How to Optimize Your Blog for SEO
Now, we will go in and optimize it by adding some colors. I’ve got links in here that are affiliate links.
Examples of Pins and Pinterest Boards
I’ve got things like pins. So these pins are the pins that I created on Pinterest and then I was able to come over here to my blog post and embed them.
So what this is going to do is this is going to invite more followers to your Pinterest board.
How to Get People Follow Your Channels
So I like to send people back and forth and get people to follow my Pinterest, and then people over to my blog, get my blog people to follow Pinterest, get my Youtube people to follow, you see that kind of a little trend there. Click on the links below.
How to Add Pins to Your Blog
Our goal would be for somebody to click on one of these items and potentially buy them. And then we get the affiliate commission.
So let me show you today how you can pin or put one of these pins on your website.
So I’m going to go to edit post.
We’re going to go over to Pinterest where I’ve got all these pins, and I’ve only been doing Pinterest, I started this board a couple of months ago. So it’s just now
And then we’re going to grab one of the mother of the bride dresses that we want to embed. Let us go to the boards. And then go to my mother of the bride.
In we will be going to do add some more with accessories in the blog post. So let us find a pair of shoes or jewelry.
This is a good pair of shoes. So we’re going to take that pair of shoes and here’s what you do. You click on these little three dots embed.
And then we go to the widget builder. We choose to do the larger embed code, and we will be hiding the description because that’s not necessary.
By hiding the description, it will enable all of those hashtags and affiliate disclaimers that we put on Pinterest to not so show on the blog differently.
So now, we are going to take this code right here, copy it, go over to the blog.
I am using WordPress Gutenberg, and I am obsessed with WordPress, and I love the New Gutenberg editor because I’m able to use content blocks.
So I’m going to come up here, we’re going to click the plus sign, and then we’re going to type in the search area HTML and then click on the HTML block and
Now that’s not all. When you are using Pinterest, you need this code in the body tag.
So what we need to do now is copy that on WordPress so that we don’t have to access the code,
Next, you may need to have a plugin called header and footer scripts.
And then on each page, you will get this little box, header scripts, body scripts.
So all we did is we pasted it right there in the body scripts, and we only need to do that once. As long as we have that on the page, we don’t need to do it for each pin.
And so you see, we just added that pair of shoes. So we’re going click the updated button and then click the preview button, wait for the blog to generate a preview. Then once it’s up, you’ll get to see where it shows up.
So now we’ll go down to the mother of the bride outfits. There it is. That’s the shoe we want to see.
This gives you the ability to use images that are not just stock art and clip art. They look better, and there are affiliate opportunities.
